Henry got a bath

You have to soak Russian tortouises so they don't get dehydrated but any ways Macie of course has to watch! And be right there the whole time! Incase Henry moves lol! 

Macie got her hair cut...this time no trauma!

So last time i got the dogs groomed i took them to Petco here in town...well 100$ later and two unhappy dogs and an unhappy me was not what we planned. I wanted Abby to be shaved like a lion and the lady first off told me that would look dumb! ha who says that to a customer! And lady i don't care what you think thats how i want my dog! haha
anyways i just wanted Macie to be bathed and combed..not hard right? well obviously the lady thought that was dumb too, because when i went to pick her up she wasn't even touched..no bath no comb but yet they charged me 50$ to bath her with some special conditioner but they didn't even do anything...plus on top of all of this madness! they put a muzzle on her! and she was just getting a bath not even shaved or anything and they muzzled her! how sad...
when i picked her up the second time because i made them bath her she was so traumatized :( poor puppy! I ended up only paying 80$ and they gave me a 5$ coupon. what a joke! lol!

so Today i took Mace to Poochie Mamas which i don't know why i didn't take her there in the first place but she looks so good and is happy! and the ladies there love her! and i also only paid 35$!

She is really short because her matts where so bad from Petco not brushing her before they bathed her..so Poochie Mamas cuts her hair instead of combing it out so that it doesn't hurt her.

Macie and Henry's Adventures

Today Macie got to get a balloon for Henry from the dollar store..(her Favorite store) because we are going to let him play in the yard but we don't want him to get lost so we are tying a balloon around him.

And Macie likes the dollar store best, because she can go in with out being told to stay in the car..and the ladies there know her by name (:

Short stories of Macie and Henry

Macie loves her turtle! The day we got Henry she would not leave his cage alone, she stayed right by it all the time. Even when we offered her a treat she would rather sit by the turtle cage and as many of you might not know Macie never passes up food! NEVER so we knew this was serious.
A few days went by and she was still obsessed with Henry so we tried to let them play...maybe thats what she wants.

We were right..as soon as we let Henry out she just watched his every move again, but at least she wasn't barking at him inside his cage anymore. I think she thinks he is her baby...

Sleepy sleepy sleepy (lazy) Macie

Oh Macie...she is the laziest dog Sometimes! Mostly she's just not a morning person but still...I asked her to get up and come snuggle me and she just gave me this look 

Please play with me!

She loves to play now days! Oh man! Everyday I get home I say hi to mace and the first thing she does is bring me her ball..oh does she love her ball! She brings it right up to you and drops it and runs to where she thinks you'll throw it..she always has to get a head start! And just after you use the bathroom she has to make sure your going to throw the ball next. 

Pouty puppy

When Macie pouts....oh it breaks your heart! But it is so funny afterwards! Haha me and my husband laugh at her all day but especially when she is pouting! 

She only pouts when me or josh yells at her and it hurts her feelings..you know she's pouting when she won't look at you and you go to give her a kiss and she looks away! Until you tell her sorry and then she licks you!! And licks you! And licks you! Haha I love her 

Good morning Macer

Every morning is an adventure when you have mace around. She wakes up and snuggles you or when you wake up and have to drag her out of bed to go potty you know she has life ruff! Haha but on this particular morning I caught her up and at it watching tv waiting for me and Josh to wake up. She is usually the laziest one! Believe it or not she was starring right at the tv! I snuck a picture but she turned and looked at me. Then she just yawned! 

When I take baths Mace makes sure I don't drown

So the other day I decided to get in the bath tub and use my new bubble bath I just got! Macie was playing downstairs with my husband and I was relaxing well next thing I know she wants to play with me..I look up after she barks at me and she is standing at the side of the tub. She wants me to get out and come play with her and dad. So I laugh and take this picture. Then of course get out and play with her because I don't want her to pout haha! 

Macie's thoughts on kidney beans

Hello there,

Macie and I had just got done playing with her absolute favorite pink light up ball. She loves to play ball with me, we stopped to take a break and i sat down at the counter. Well anytime I sit down she jumps up four or five times to get my attention so that i can pick her up. But when you go to pick Macie up she conveniently turns around so you can grab her easier and she jumps a little so that she isn't as heavy. It makes me laugh every time she does it. 

So I put her on my lap and of course she has to be on the counter, I know thats not very polite to let dogs on the counter. But when your dog insists...what are you gonna do? Let her be on the counter! 

well I decided to have a salad, Macie wanted to have some too! I let her try a kidney bean...and this is her reaction:
